ANCHOR Youth Group


 

With a great pleasure and pride, Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish would like to introduce to all our Parishioners, especially all High School Students, a new Youth Group – ANCHOR. Why ANCHOR? It’s a very good question! We try to emphasize what’s really important for us. We recognize that God is the anchor, the highest value in a human’s life and we are called to be one with Him by serving others.

When a vast majority of young people hear the term “youth group” an image of “Jesus freak” people comes to their mind. However, it’s not the case in our group! We are totally down to earth, young people, who are not afraid to give our own opinion, give a hand to those who are in need and have fun with others! The ANCHOR Group is not for cowards! It’s for those who live or want to learn how to live life according to strong values! What’s more… we are planning on going to Universal Studio, as a group of young adults to have fun and grow in faith.

If you are brave enough, join us and our trip!  If you want to learn more about our group or simply have fun come to our meetings. The meeting will be held  every other Wednesday, at 7:00PM.
